Succulents

Playing with a new idea ~ driftwood succulent planters.This is our first one, and so far my hen and chick seems to be happy in it.

We have plenty of little pieces of driftwood just waiting to be turned into something new.

Inspiration: Recycled Barnwood Garden House

This is Megan Lea's backyard house It was made using reclaimed barnwood, and has copper roofing. I love how the boards were stained to add color, but left unfinished. The little house sits in the back corner of her garden as a cozy extra space.

In the Woodshop

Justin brought home some "new" barnwood last week. It's a lot bigger than the reclaimed cedar that we've been using, which is really cool ~ more opportunities! But now we have to come up with some new designs.
